Mark is 35 years old and has been in law enforcement for approximately 4 years. He has been with the Coos Bay Police Department for 16 months as a Patrol Officer, and just recently a coordinator for the reserve Officer Program. Mark enjoys hiking, racquetball and anything motorcycle related. He is originally from Bend, Oregon where he worked for the Deschutes County Sheriff’s office.

In his younger days he was involved with cycling groups in Central Oregon. He competed in the Pole Pedal Paddle team race several years, usually doing the bike portion. He has also ridden the Ashland alpine triple challenge. Mark then moved to Mountain bikes to enjoy the trails of Central Oregon.

Mark is currently working on putting miles back on to get in shape for next years big ride to the U.K.
